ZUTATEN
Meat
- 🥩 200g sliced beef
Vegetables
- 200g lotus root
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion
- 🧄 1 clove garlic
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 💧 150ml water
SCHRITTE
Cut the lotus root into quarters lengthwise, then slice diagonally into irregular pieces. Soak in water and drain. Slice the green onion diagonally into 2cm pieces. Mince the garlic.
Season the beef with salt and pepper, then coat with cornstarch.
Heat sesame oil and garlic in a pot until fragrant. Add the beef and stir-fry over medium heat until the color changes.
Add lotus root and green onion, stir-fry until softened. Add the seasoning mixture (sake, soy sauce, oyster sauce, water) and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low heat for 5-6 minutes.
