ZUTATEN
Main
- 🥩 200g sliced beef
- 🧀 45g baby cheese (3 pieces)
- 3 shiso leaves
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
- Enough salad oil for frying
Coating
- 🌾 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 🥚 1 beaten egg
- 🍞 30g fresh breadcrumbs
SCHRITTE
Cut the baby cheese in half horizontally. Trim the stems off the shiso leaves and cut them in half vertically.
Place the sliced beef in a bowl, add salt and pepper, and massage the seasoning into the meat. Divide into 6 portions. Wrap each portion with a shiso leaf and a piece of cheese, shaping them into round balls.
Coat each beef ball in flour, then dip into beaten egg, and finally cover with breadcrumbs.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C (about 2cm depth). Fry the coated beef balls for 4–5 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
