ZUTATEN
Main Ingredients
- 🧈 1 block tofu
- Adequate amount of sesame oil
- 💧 2/3 cup water
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp plum extract
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp rice wine
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp sesame seeds
SCHRITTE
Slice tofu into 1cm thick pieces and pat dry with a paper towel.
Heat a pan over medium heat, add oil, and pan-fry tofu until golden on both sides.
Mix all seasoning ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
Place the seasoning generously over the fried tofu in the pan.
Add 2/3 cup of water to the pan and simmer the tofu.
Spoon the sauce over the tofu occasionally while simmering to ensure even flavor absorption.
Simmer until the sauce thickens and the tofu is well-coated.
