Rice
- 🍚 2 bowls warm rice (300g)
Fish
- 🐟 2 slices buri (yellowtail)
Vegetables
- 🥬 1/4 head cabbage, shredded
Egg
- 🥚 1 beaten egg
Flour
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
Breadcrumbs
- Enough breadcrumbs to coat
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- Sprinkle of white sesame seeds
Miso Sauce
- 1.5 tbsp miso
- 1 tbsp sake
- 3 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
SCHRITTE
Season buri slices with salt and pepper, let sit for 5 minutes, then pat dry. Shred cabbage finely.
Mix the miso sauce ingredients in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely, and microwave at 600W for 1 minute.
Coat buri slices in flour, dip in beaten egg, and cover with breadcrumbs.
Heat salad oil to 170°C and deep-fry the coated buri slices, turning until golden brown.
Serve warm rice in a bowl, top with shredded cabbage, sliced katsu, and drizzle with miso sauce. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
