- 2 bell peppers
- 1 slice ginger
- Enough vegetable oil for frying
Seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp chicken broth powder

Slice the chicken breast thinly at a 5mm width, then cut into thin strips.
Cut the carrot into thin diagonal slices, then into 5mm strips. Slice the bell peppers into 5mm strips after removing the seeds and stems. Slice the ginger thinly into matchsticks.
In a bowl, mix the chicken with the seasoning ingredients (sake, salt, sesame oil, chicken broth powder) and let it marinate for 5 minutes. Add the carrot, bell peppers, and ginger, and mix lightly.
In a separate bowl, mix the batter ingredients (flour, potato starch, water). Add the marinated mixture and gently combine.
Heat vegetable oil in a pot to 170°C. Scoop 1/6 of the mixture onto a spatula and carefully drop it into the oil. Fry for 3–4 minutes, flipping occasionally, until golden and crispy. Repeat for all portions.
