ZUTATEN
Fish
- 🐟 220g cod fillets (2 pieces)
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- Enough flour for coating
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp sake for steaming
- Chopped parsley as needed
- 🍋 2 slices of lemon
Sauce
- 🧈 30g salted butter
- 🍋 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
SCHRITTE
Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper, then lightly coat with flour.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the cod skin-side down and cook until both sides are golden brown. Add 1 tbsp sake, cover, and steam on low heat for 2 minutes. Remove the cod from the pan.
Wipe the pan clean with paper towels. Add butter and melt over low heat. Stir in lemon juice, sake, salt, and pepper, and bring to a boil to create the lemon butter sauce.
Plate the cod and pour the lemon butter sauce over it. Garnish with lemon slices and chopped parsley as desired.
