ZUTATEN
Batter
- 80g all-purpose flour
- 100cc water
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
Vegetables
- 300g chopped cabbage
- 200g grated yam
- 15g pickled ginger
Toppings
- 30g tempura flakes
- 100g sliced pork belly
- To taste okonomiyaki sauce
- To taste seaweed flakes
- To taste bonito flakes
Cooking Oil
- 2 tbsp salad oil
SCHRITTE
Chop the cabbage into small pieces and grate the yam after peeling.
Cut the pork belly slices in half for easier placement.
Mix flour, dashi powder, and water in a bowl. Add cabbage, yam, pickled ginger, and tempura flakes, then mix thoroughly to form the batter.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Spread the batter into a round shape about 2cm thick. Place pork belly slices on top and cook until golden brown.
Flip the pancake, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for about 7 minutes until the pork and batter are fully cooked.
Serve on a plate and top with okonomiyaki sauce, seaweed flakes, and bonito flakes.
