Main Ingredients
- 1 piece ginger
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
- 1 packet (4g) bonito flakes
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 💧 200 ml water
SCHRITTE
Peel the ginger using a spoon, cut it into thin strips, and soak in water. Drain the water afterward.
In a small pot, combine all the seasonings (☆) and heat on high until boiling. Add the ginger and simmer on medium heat for 10–15 minutes until the liquid reduces.
Reduce to low heat, add the bonito flakes, and simmer for another 2 minutes. Sprinkle with white sesame seeds before serving.
