Seasoning

- 4 shiso leaves
Batter
- 1 cup tempura flour
- 💧 Water as needed
- 1 tsp aonori (seaweed powder)
Cooking Oil
- Salad oil as needed

- 🍋 1/4 lemon
SCHRITTE
Sprinkle salt on the sardines and coat both sides with tempura flour (not listed in ingredients).
Trim the stems of the shiso leaves and cut the lemon into halves.
Mix tempura flour with water according to package instructions, then add aonori and stir well.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C (338°F). Dip the sardines and shiso leaves in the batter and fry until golden. Serve with salt and lemon.
