Meat
- 300g ground chicken
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion, minced (100g)
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Cooking Oil
- 2 tsp salad oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍅 3 tbsp ketchup
- 💧 100ml water
Thickener
- 💧 1/2 tbsp water
- 1/2 tbsp potato starch
SCHRITTE
Mince the onion finely.
Mix ground chicken, minced onion, potato starch, sake, and salt and pepper in a bowl to form the meat mixture.
Combine all sauce ingredients (sake, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, and water) in a separate bowl.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Shape the meat mixture into bite-sized balls and cook for 3–4 minutes, turning until browned.
Add the sauce mixture to the pan. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 2–3 minutes.
Add the water-starch mixture to the pan and stir to thicken the sauce.
