- 1 cup soybean sprouts
- 🥕 1/2 cup diced carrot
- 🧅 2 tbsp chopped green onion
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
Egg
- 🥚 1 fried egg
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
Rice
- 🍚 1 cup cooked rice
SCHRITTE
Prepare the ingredients: dice carrot, chop green onion, and mince garlic.
Mix the seasoning: combine gochujang, chili powder, mirin, soy sauce, sugar, and minced garlic in a 1:1 ratio.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped green onion until fragrant.
Add diced carrot and the prepared seasoning mixture. Stir-fry until the carrot softens.
Add soybean sprouts and stir-fry until they wilt slightly.
Add cooked rice and mix well with the vegetables and seasoning. Turn off the heat while mixing.
Fry an egg in a separate pan, tilting the pan to spoon hot oil over the yolk for a crispy texture.
Serve the fried rice topped with the fried egg and garnish with crushed seaweed flakes.
