ZUTATEN
Main Ingredients
- 80g cod roe
- 400g bean sprouts
- 150g mochi, diced
- 1.5 tbsp sesame oil
Batter Ingredients
- 🥚 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- 6 tbsp potato starch
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup water
Sauce Ingredients
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1.5 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp sugar
Finishing Touch
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
SCHRITTE
Trim the roots of the bean sprouts and dice the mochi into 2cm squares.
Slice the cod roe into 1cm thick pieces.
Prepare the batter: In a bowl, beat the egg, add water, and mix well. Gradually add potato starch, flour, and salt, then let it rest at room temperature.
Combine the batter with the bean sprouts, mochi, and cod roe, mixing thoroughly.
Heat 1.5 tbsp sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Pour the batter into the pan, spreading it evenly.
Cover the pan and cook on low-medium heat for 7 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
Flip the pancake using a spatula. Mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl to prepare the dipping sauce.
Add 1 tbsp sesame oil around the edges of the pan and cook uncovered for 3 minutes. Slice and serve with the dipping sauce.
