ZUTATEN
Rice
- 🍚 2 cups soaked rice
Seafood
- 🐙 150g boiled octopus
Vegetables
- 40g fresh ginger
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Liquid
- 💧 Water, as needed
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
SCHRITTE
Wash fresh ginger thoroughly and slice thinly with the skin on. Stack slices and cut into thin strips. Soak in water for 10 minutes and drain.
Cut boiled octopus into 5mm thick slices.
In a rice cooker, add soaked rice, seasonings (sake, mirin, soy sauce), and water up to the 2-cup mark. Mix well and flatten the rice. Place octopus and ginger on top and cook as usual.
Once cooked, gently mix the rice and toppings together. Serve in bowls and garnish with chopped green onion.
