ZUTATEN
Main Ingredients
- 3 pieces mochi
- 🦐 100g peeled shrimp
- 🧅 1/4 onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 pack shimeji mushrooms
Seasoning and Sauce
- 1 tbsp salad oil
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 🥛 300ml milk
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- A pinch of pepper
- 🧀 60g pizza cheese
SCHRITTE
Cut the mochi into bite-sized pieces. Thinly slice the onion and trim the base of the shimeji mushrooms, separating them.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and shimeji mushrooms, and sauté until softened.
Add the peeled shrimp to the pan and sauté briefly until they turn pink.
Turn off the heat and mix in the flour until no powdery texture remains.
Reheat the pan and add milk, salt, and pepper. Simmer over medium-low heat for 3–4 minutes until the mixture thickens.
Add the mochi pieces and simmer for another 3–4 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a heatproof dish, top with pizza cheese, and bake in a toaster oven until golden brown.
