- 🐟 2 fillets swordfish
- 🌱 5 okra pods
- 🍑 2 pickled plums
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 tsp salad oil
Sauce Ingredients
- 🍬 1/2 tsp sugar
- 🧂 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 🌿 Pinch of wasabi
SCHRITTE
Remove the pits from the pickled plums and mash them into a paste. Rub the okra with salt (not listed in ingredients) on a cutting board, rinse with water, and finely chop.
Place the chopped okra in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 1 minute. Let it cool, then mix with the sauce ingredients (sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and wasabi). Add the mashed plum and mix well to create the okra plum wasabi sauce.
Season both sides of the swordfish fillets with salt and pepper. Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the swordfish until golden brown on one side. Flip and cook until fully cooked through. Serve on a plate and top with the okra plum wasabi sauce.
