Main Ingredients
- 🍗 6 chicken wings (360g)
- 🥔 2 potatoes (300g)
Cooking Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 150ml water
Garnish
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
SCHRITTE
Cut the potatoes into large bite-sized pieces and soak them in water. Drain the water.
Cut the chicken wings at the joint.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the chicken wings skin-side down and cook until browned on both sides. Add the potatoes and stir to coat them with oil.
Add all seasonings except soy sauce and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low heat for 8 minutes.
Add soy sauce and heat over medium heat until boiling. Cover and simmer on low heat for another 5 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
Remove the lid and turn the chicken wings occasionally while cooking over medium heat until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
Serve on a plate and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
