ZUTATEN

  • Meat

    • 🥩 8 slices pork belly (160g)
  • Tofu

    • 🥛 1 block firm tofu (300g)
  • Condiments

    • 1 pickled plum
    • 1 tbsp potato starch
    • 1/2 tbsp salad oil
  • Seasonings

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • Garnish

    • 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed

SCHRITTE

1

Remove the seed from the pickled plum and mash it with a knife to create plum paste.

2

Wrap the tofu in kitchen paper, place it in a microwave-safe container, and heat at 600W for 3 minutes. Let it cool and cut into 8 equal pieces.

3

Spread the pork slices, dust lightly with potato starch, place tofu on top, and wrap the pork around the tofu. Gently press to secure the shape. Repeat for all 8 pieces.

4

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the wrapped tofu with the seam side down and cook, turning occasionally, until browned and fully cooked, about 4 minutes.

5

Wipe off excess oil from the pan with kitchen paper. Add the seasoning mixture (sake, mirin, soy sauce) and plum paste. Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens and coats the tofu wraps.

6

Plate the tofu wraps and garnish with chopped green onion.
