ZUTATEN
Beef
- 🥩 10 slices thinly sliced beef (about 150g)
Vegetables
- 1/2 bunch komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach)
- 🥕 2/3 carrot, julienned
- 1/2 bag bean sprouts
Cooking Oil
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
- A pinch of pepper
Sauce
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
SCHRITTE
Cut the komatsuna into 4-5 cm lengths, separating stems and leaves. Julienne the carrot into 6-7 cm strips. Remove the roots from the bean sprouts. Lay out the beef slices, evenly distribute the bean sprouts and carrot, and roll tightly.
Heat 1/2 tbsp of oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the komatsuna stems first, followed by the leaves, and stir-fry. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper, then transfer to a serving plate.
Clean the frying pan and heat the remaining 1/2 tbsp of oil. Place the beef rolls seam-side down in the pan and cook until browned. Turn them occasionally and cook for 6-7 minutes. Add the sauce ingredients and simmer until the liquid is almost gone, coating the rolls evenly. Serve alongside the komatsuna.
