    • 100g mizuna (cut into 5cm pieces)
    • 🧅 1 green onion (thinly sliced diagonally)

    • 2 pieces fried tofu (cut into 1.5cm strips)
  • Seasonings

    • 💧 500cc water
    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 2 tbsp mirin
    • 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
    • 1/3 tsp Japanese dashi powder

Cut the mizuna into 5cm pieces and slice the green onion diagonally into thin slices.

Add all seasoning ingredients (water, sake, soy sauce, mirin, salt, dashi powder) into a pot and bring to a boil over medium heat.

Add fried tofu, mizuna, and green onion to the pot and simmer for about 3 minutes until the green onion is cooked.

Gradually add the yellowtail slices to the pot and cook until they are fully cooked.
