INGREDIENTES
Fish
- 🐟 2 filleted horse mackerels (140g)
Seasoning
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
- Enough potato starch for coating
- Enough salad oil for frying
Marinade
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tsp grated ginger
Garnish
- 🍋 2 wedges of lemon
PASOS
Sprinkle salt on the horse mackerel fillets and let them sit for 10 minutes. Pat dry with paper towels and cut into 2–3 pieces. Remove any small bones.
Mix the marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add the fish and massage gently. Let it marinate for 5 minutes.
Pat the fish lightly with paper towels to remove excess marinade. Coat the fish thoroughly with potato starch.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C (about 1cm depth). Fry the fish until the surface sets, then flip and fry until golden brown and cooked through.
Plate the fried fish and garnish with lemon wedges.
