    • 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
    • 💧 150cc hot water

Grate the yam and divide it into two portions of 50g each. Cut the green onion lengthwise and chop finely.

Cut the boiled octopus into 1cm cubes.

In a bowl, mix eggs, 50g of grated yam, chopped green onion, and the ☆ seasonings to create the egg mixture.

Spread a thin layer of salad oil on a tamagoyaki pan and heat over medium-low heat. Pour 1/3 of the egg mixture into the pan, and when it starts to set, sprinkle boiled octopus pieces and fold the omelette. Repeat until all egg mixture is used. Let cool and cut into 6–8 pieces.

In a heatproof container, mix the ★ dashi ingredients to prepare the dashi broth.

Serve the omelette pieces with the dashi broth and top the broth with the remaining grated yam.
