    • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
  • Soup Base

    • 🍅 400g canned diced tomatoes
    • 2 tbsp curry powder
    • 🧂 1 tsp salt
    • Pinch of pepper
    • 🥛 100g plain yogurt
    • 🥛 200ml milk
    • 💧 200ml water

Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Mix chicken with curry powder, salt, pepper, garlic, and ginger in a bowl. Let marinate for 20 minutes.

Peel and slice potatoes, soak in water for 5 minutes, then drain. Chop cabbage into bite-sized pieces and slice onion into 1cm strips.

Add soup base ingredients (tomatoes, curry powder, salt, pepper, yogurt, milk, and water) to a pot and heat over medium heat until boiling. Add marinated chicken and onion, stir, and bring to a boil again. Cover and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.

Uncover the pot, add potatoes and cabbage, and simmer for 7–8 minutes until potatoes are cooked through.

Add sugar and butter, stir to combine, and serve hot.
