INGREDIENTES
Vegetables
- 🥔 1 potato
- 🥬 1/8 cabbage
Meat
- 🥓 4 slices bacon
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
Oil
- 2 tsp salad oil
Toppings
- Okonomiyaki sauce to taste
- Mayonnaise to taste
- Bonito flakes to taste
Batter
- 100g flour
- 1 tbsp tempura flakes
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 1 tsp dashi powder
- 🥚 1 egg
- 💧 100ml water
PASOS
Peel and cut the potato into 1.5cm cubes, soak in water, place in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes.
Chop the cabbage roughly and cut the bacon into 2cm strips.
Mix the batter ingredients (flour, tempura flakes, curry powder, dashi powder, egg, and water) in a bowl.
Add the microwaved potato, chopped cabbage, bacon, salt, and black pepper to the batter and mix well.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan, pour half of the mixture, cover with a lid, and steam-fry on medium heat for 4 minutes. Flip and cook until fully done. Top with okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, and bonito flakes. Repeat for the remaining batter.
