INGREDIENTES
Vegetables
- 1 small napa cabbage
- 🥕 1/3 carrot, julienned
Seasoning
- 1/2 cup fish sauce
- 8 tbsp red chili powder
- 🧄 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp plum syrup
- 🧂 4 tbsp sugar
- 🌰 2 tbsp sesame seeds
PASOS
Cut the napa cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
Julienne the carrot and set aside.
Sprinkle a handful of salt over the cabbage and let it sit for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the seasoning by mixing fish sauce, red chili powder, minced garlic, plum syrup, and sugar.
Check the cabbage; if it bends easily, it is properly salted.
Rinse the cabbage several times in cold water to remove excess salt.
Combine the rinsed cabbage, julienned carrot, and prepared seasoning. Mix well.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve. Optionally, add a drizzle of sesame oil before serving.
