INGREDIENTES
Main Ingredients
- 🥩 7 slices beef brisket
- 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
- 🥔 2 small potatoes, diced
- 🧅 5 cm green onion, sliced
- 1 green chili pepper, sliced
Broth Ingredients
- 🐟 10 dried anchovies
- 1 sheet kelp (10x10 cm)
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp red pepper powder
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cooking wine
- 0.5 tbsp doenjang (soybean paste)
- 0.5 tbsp gochujang (red chili paste)
- 🧄 0.5 tbsp minced garlic
- Pinch of black pepper
PASOS
Prepare the broth by boiling 700 ml water with dried anchovies and kelp for 20 minutes on low heat. Strain the broth and set aside.
Slice the beef brisket, onion, potatoes, green onion, and chili pepper as instructed.
Mix the seasoning ingredients (red pepper powder, soy sauce, cooking wine, doenjang, gochujang, minced garlic, black pepper) in a small bowl.
Heat 0.5 tbsp sesame oil in a pot and stir-fry the beef brisket until browned and the fat renders.
Add the potatoes and onion to the pot and stir-fry until the potatoes become translucent.
Add the prepared seasoning and stir for 30 seconds, then pour in the broth. Simmer on medium heat until the potatoes are fully cooked (about 10 minutes).
Add the sliced green onion and chili pepper, then simmer for 1-2 minutes before serving.
