INGREDIENTES
Meat
- 200g ground mixed beef and pork
Vegetables
- 🥬 100g shredded cabbage
Dairy
- 🧀 4 slices of melting cheese
Seasoning
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
Breading
- 🍞 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Oil
- Sufficient amount of salad oil for frying
Meat Seasoning
- 🍞 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 🥛 3 tbsp milk
- 🥚 1/2 beaten egg
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- A dash of pepper
Batter
- 🥚 1/2 beaten egg
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 💧 2 tbsp water
Finishing
- Sufficient amount of Worcestershire sauce
PASOS
Place shredded cabbage and a pinch of salt into a plastic bag. Massage the bag and let sit for 5 minutes, then squeeze out excess water.
Mix breadcrumbs and milk in a bowl. Add ground meat, the remaining meat seasoning ingredients, and mix until sticky. Transfer the mixture into a piping bag or cut the corner of a plastic bag.
Pipe out 1/4 of the meat mixture. Fold each slice of cheese into quarters, place in the center of the meat, and shape into an oval patty. Repeat for all 4 patties.
Prepare the batter by mixing the batter ingredients in a tray. Dip each patty into the batter, then coat with breadcrumbs. Repeat for all patties.
Heat salad oil to 170°C (340°F) in a pot. Fry the patties for about 8 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through.
Serve hot with Worcestershire sauce drizzled on top.
