INGREDIENTES
Rice
- 🍚 2 cups soaked rice
Protein
- 🍗 150g chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 80g burdock root
- 1 piece ginger
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Oil
- 2 tsp sesame oil
Seasoning
- Water, as needed
- 2 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
PASOS
Cut chicken into 2cm cubes.
Scrape burdock root skin, slice thinly, and soak in water. Drain. Slice ginger into thin strips.
Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until color changes. Add burdock and stir-fry.
Add seasoning ingredients (sake, sugar, soy sauce) and mix. Cover and simmer on low-medium heat for 5 minutes.
Separate cooked ingredients from the broth and let cool.
In a rice cooker, add rice, broth, and water up to the 2-cup line. Mix, flatten rice, and layer cooked ingredients and ginger on top. Cook as usual.
Serve in bowls and garnish with chopped green onions.
