INGREDIENTES
Rice
- 🍚 400g warm cooked rice
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Chicken
- 200g ground chicken
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sake
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
Toppings
- 2 shiso leaves
- Mayonnaise to taste
- 🌰 Sesame seeds to taste
Cooking Oil
- 2 tbsp salad oil
PASOS
Mix ground chicken with sake, salt, pepper, and cornstarch in a bowl. Divide into two portions and shape into flat round patties.
Mix warm rice with 1 tbsp cornstarch in a bowl. Divide into four portions and shape into flat round buns.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the rice buns until golden on both sides, then remove from the pan.
Heat salad oil in the same pan. Cook the chicken patties until browned on one side, then flip, cover, and steam on low heat for 5 minutes.
Wipe the pan clean, add the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce), and cook until thickened while coating the patties.
Assemble the rice burger by spreading sauce on the rice buns, adding shiso leaves, mayonnaise, chicken patties, and sesame seeds. Top with another rice bun.
