INGREDIENTES
Meat
- 600g pork spare ribs (12 pieces)
Vegetables
- 🥔 2 potatoes (300g), cut into wedges
- 🧅 1 onion, cut into wedges
- 🥕 1 carrot, cut into bite-sized pieces
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 🧄 1 tsp grated garlic
- 1 tsp grated ginger
Liquid
- 2 tbsp sake
- 150ml water
Oil
- 1 tsp salad oil
PASOS
Wash potatoes, remove sprouts, and cut into wedges. Soak in water and drain. Cut onion into wedges and carrot into bite-sized pieces.
Season pork spare ribs with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat salad oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Add spare ribs and cook until browned on both sides. Add potatoes, onion, and carrot, then pour in sake and water. Cover and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
Remove vegetables from the Dutch oven. Add soy sauce, sugar, garlic, and ginger to the ribs. Cook over medium-high heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and coats the ribs.
