INGREDIENTES
Fish
- 🐟 2 sardines, filleted
Seasoning
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 🍋 1/4 lemon, thinly sliced
- 🌿 1 bunch of cilantro, chopped
Dry Ingredients
- 🌾 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🍶 3 tbsp vinegar
- 🍶 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 💧 80 ml water
PASOS
Cut the sardines in half, season with salt and pepper, and coat with flour.
Thinly slice the onion, chop the cilantro into 2 cm lengths, and slice the lemon thinly with the peel.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C and fry the sardines for 3 minutes. Layer the onion in a container, place the sardines on top, and add the lemon slices.
In a saucepan, combine sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, fish sauce, and water. Bring to a boil.
Pour the sauce over the sardines and let it marinate for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Garnish with cilantro before serving.
