INGREDIENTES
Seafood
- 🦑 250g frozen rolled squid
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Coating
- 🌾 1/2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 🍞 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Enough salad oil for frying
Batter
- 🌾 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 💧 50ml water
- 🥚 1 beaten egg
Garnish
- 🍋 1 wedge of lemon
- 🌿 Enough parsley for garnish
- Enough medium-thick sauce
PASOS
Place the squid in a bowl, sprinkle with 1/2 tsp salt, rub, and rinse with water. Pat dry with a paper towel. Score the squid and cut into 2–3cm wide strips.
Season the squid with salt and pepper, then lightly coat with 1/2 tbsp all-purpose flour.
Mix the batter ingredients (flour, water, beaten egg) in a bowl.
Dip the squid strips into the batter, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat 3cm of salad oil in a pot to 170°C. Fry the squid until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve the fried squid on a plate with lemon, parsley, and medium-thick sauce.
