    • 🧅 2 tbsp chopped negi
  • Seasoning

    • 2 tbsp potato starch
    • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
    • 1/2 tbsp sake
    • 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
    • 🧄 1/3 tsp grated garlic
    • 1/3 tsp grated ginger
    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Finely mince the green onion.

In a bowl, mix ground meat, green onion, and seasonings (☆) until sticky. Divide into 4 portions.

Cut atsuage in half and make slits on the cut surfaces. Dust the slits with potato starch. Stuff each slit with the meat mixture and dust the edges with potato starch. Repeat for 4 pieces.

Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the stuffed atsuage slit-side down and cook until browned. Flip and brown the other sides. Cover and steam on low heat for 5 minutes.

Add the seasonings (★) to the pan and simmer over medium heat until the sauce thickens and coats the atsuage.

Plate the stuffed atsuage and garnish with chopped negi.
