INGREDIENTES
Cheese / Dairy
- 🧀 2 pieces baby cheese (30g)
Oil
- Salad oil, as needed
Condiment
- 🍅 Ketchup, as needed
Flour
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp potato starch
Nugget Base
- 1 piece hanpen (60g)
- 🍗 100g ground chicken (thigh)
- 🧅 1/6 onion, minced
- 🧂 Salt and pepper, a pinch
- 1 tbsp potato starch
PASOS
Mince the onion and cut the baby cheese into 6 equal pieces.
Place the hanpen in a plastic bag and knead until crushed. Add the remaining nugget base ingredients and knead until uniform.
Cut a small opening (1 cm) in the bag and pipe 12 portions onto plastic wrap. Embed a piece of baby cheese in the center of each and shape them.
Mix the all-purpose flour and potato starch in a tray. Coat the nuggets evenly.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 180°C (about 2 cm deep). Fry the nuggets for 2–3 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown.
Serve the nuggets on a plate with ketchup on the side.
