INGREDIENTES
Main Ingredients
- 🌾 300g bread flour
- 🥛 220g milk
- 🧂 25g sugar
- 🧂 4g salt
- 4g dry yeast
- 🧈 15g butter
- 🌾 A small amount of extra bread flour for dusting
PASOS
Combine all ingredients except butter with lukewarm milk and start kneading.
Once the dough comes together without dry flour, add butter and knead for 10 minutes.
Cover the dough with plastic wrap, poke a small hole for air, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
Punch down the dough to release gas after the first rise.
Divide the dough into 6 equal portions.
Shape each portion into a round ball, cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap, and let rest for 15–20 minutes.
After resting, lightly punch the dough, reshape into rounds, and press the center with chopsticks or a rolling pin to form the desired shape.
Place shaped dough on a baking tray, cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap, and let rise for 40 minutes. Preheat the oven to 140°C during this time.
Dust the risen dough with extra flour using a sieve and bake in the preheated oven at 140°C for 15 minutes.
Enjoy the freshly baked white bread warm, plain or with jam.
