INGREDIENTES
Fish
- 🐟 1 can (200g) sardines in water
Tofu
- 🥛 1/2 block (150g) firm tofu
Herbs
- 2 shiso leaves, chopped
Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 2 tbsp potato starch
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
PASOS
Wrap tofu in kitchen paper, place on a microwave-safe plate, and heat at 600W for 2 minutes without covering.
Chop the shiso leaves finely.
In a bowl, mash the sardines, add tofu, chopped shiso, and the seasoning ingredients (salt, ginger, potato starch). Mix well and divide into 4 portions, shaping them into balls.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the shaped balls in the pan and cook until browned. Flip, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for 2 minutes.
Add the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, soy sauce) to the pan and simmer over medium heat, coating the tsukune evenly.
