INGREDIENTES
Rice
- 🍚 2 bowls cooked rice (400g)
Fish
- 🐟 4 sardines (480g)
Flour
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
Oil
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Garnish
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, a pinch
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
PASOS
Prepare the sardines: Remove scales, cut off the head, clean the insides, and fillet the fish by removing the backbone and trimming the belly bones.
Lightly coat both sides of the sardines with all-purpose flour.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan and place the sardines skin-side up. Cook over medium heat until browned.
Flip the sardines, cook for 2–3 minutes, then add the seasoning mixture. Spoon the sauce over the sardines while simmering until thickened.
Serve the sardines over bowls of rice, drizzle with remaining sauce, and garnish with chopped green onions.
