INGREDIENTES
Bread
- 🍞 2 pieces of bread rolls
Seafood
- 2 chikuwa (Japanese fish cakes)
- 🐟 1 can of tuna in oil (70g)
Vegetables
- 4 shiso leaves
Dairy
- 🧀 2 tbsp pizza cheese
Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp wasabi
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
Topping
- Chopped nori to taste
PASOS
Cut a deep slit (about 2/3 depth) into the bread rolls.
Trim the stems off the shiso leaves.
Slice the chikuwa diagonally into 1 cm pieces.
Mix the canned tuna with wasabi and mayonnaise in a bowl to create the wasabi mayo tuna mixture.
Place half of the shiso leaves into the slit of each bread roll. Fill the slit with half of the wasabi mayo tuna mixture, then top with half of the chikuwa slices and half of the pizza cheese.
Place the prepared bread rolls on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil. Toast them in a toaster oven for 4–5 minutes until lightly browned.
Serve the chikuwa bread on a plate and sprinkle chopped nori on top.
