    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • Ponzu soy sauce, to taste
  • Broth

    • 1 tsp grated ginger
    • 3 tbsp sake
    • 1 tsp soy sauce
    • 2 tsp chicken stock powder
    • 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
    • 💧 800ml water

Chop komatsuna into 5cm pieces, chop cabbage into bite-sized pieces, and break maitake mushrooms into smaller pieces.

Pat yellowtail fillets dry with paper towels, cut into bite-sized pieces, and season with salt, pepper, and sake.

Mix all broth ingredients (ginger, sake, soy sauce, chicken stock, salt, and water) in a bowl.

Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat, add yellowtail fillets, and sear both sides for 30 seconds each.

Add vegetables and broth to the pot, bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes until fish and vegetables are cooked through. Serve with ponzu soy sauce.
