INGREDIENTES
Essential Ingredients
- 30 pieces of rice cakes
- 8 Vienna sausages
- 🥜 A small amount of peanuts
- A small amount of black sesame seeds
- Adequate amount of cooking oil
Sauce Ingredients
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp corn syrup
- 🍅 3 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- A small amount of ginger juice
PASOS
Boil the rice cakes in hot water for about 1 minute until soft, then drain and skewer them. Alternate some skewers with Vienna sausages. If using freshly soft rice cakes, skip boiling. Ensure rice cakes are dry to prevent oil splatter.
Combine all sauce ingredients in a pot and simmer over low heat to make the sauce. Alternatively, microwave the mixture.
Heat a pan with enough cooking oil and fry the skewers on medium-low heat until crispy on both sides.
Brush the sauce onto the skewers and sprinkle with crushed peanuts and black sesame seeds to finish.
