INGREDIENTES
Meat
- 🐖 150g thinly sliced pork belly
Vegetables
- 🥬 150g shredded lettuce
Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Batter
- 80g all-purpose flour
- 1/3 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 💧 100cc water
- 3 tbsp tempura flakes
- 🥚 1 egg
Toppings
- to taste okonomiyaki sauce
- to taste mayonnaise
- to taste aonori (seaweed flakes)
- 4g bonito flakes
PASOS
Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces.
Shred the lettuce into thick strips.
In a bowl, mix flour, dashi powder, and water. Add the egg and whisk. Then add tempura flakes and shredded lettuce, mixing gently to form the batter.
Heat half of the salad oil (1/4 tbsp) in a frying pan over medium heat. Spread half of the batter evenly in the pan and top with half of the pork belly. Cook until the batter is golden brown.
Flip the pancake and cook until the batter is fully cooked and the pork is crispy. Repeat the process to make two pancakes.
Serve on a plate and drizzle with okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, aonori, and bonito flakes.
