INGREDIENTES
Protein
- 🍗 150g chicken mince
Tofu
- 🥡 1 block firm tofu
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion
- 1 piece ginger
Spices
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- 1/2 tsp doubanjiang
Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 💧 200ml water
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- Pinch of pepper
Thickener
- 💧 1/2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp cornstarch
PASOS
Cut the firm tofu into 2cm cubes, place in a microwave-safe container, and heat at 600W for 2 minutes to remove excess water.
Finely chop the ginger and green onion.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over low heat, add the chopped ginger and green onion, and sauté until fragrant. Then add chili flakes, doubanjiang, and chicken mince, cooking over medium heat until the chicken changes color.
Add the seasoning ingredients (water, sake, salt, soy sauce, pepper) to the pan, bring to a boil, cover, and simmer over low heat for 8 minutes. Then add the tofu and simmer for an additional 3 minutes.
Add the cornstarch slurry (water and cornstarch) to the pan, stirring continuously to thicken the sauce.
