INGREDIENTES
Main
- 30g vermicelli
- 300g cabbage
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Meatballs
- 80g pork belly slices
- 200g ground pork
- 100g chopped lotus root
- 2 tbsp cold water
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp chicken broth powder
- 600ml water
PASOS
Chop the lotus root into coarse pieces and soak in water. Drain well.
Cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces and trim the core. Cut vermicelli into shorter lengths using kitchen scissors.
Finely chop the pork belly slices.
Mix all meatball ingredients except lotus root in a bowl until sticky. Add lotus root and mix well. Divide into 8 portions and shape into balls.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook meatballs, turning occasionally, until fully cooked.
Layer cabbage and meatballs in a pot. Add seasoning ingredients and heat over medium heat. Once boiling, cover and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
Add vermicelli, cover, and cook for 3 minutes until softened.
