INGREDIENTES
Pastry
- 3 sheets frozen puff pastry (10x18cm)
Meat
- 120g ground meat mix
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion (100g), minced
- 🥕 1/4 carrot (30g), minced
- 🥔 1 small potato (100g), diced
- 🧄 1 clove garlic, minced
Dairy
- 🧀 50g shredded pizza cheese
Pantry
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Cooking Oil
- 1 tsp salad oil
Egg
- 🥚 1/2 egg, beaten
PASOS
Mince the onion and carrot. Dice the potato into 7mm cubes and soak in water to remove starch. Mince the garlic after crushing it and removing the core.
Heat salad oil and garlic in a pan over low heat until fragrant. Add ground meat and cook over medium heat until partially browned. Add onion, carrot, and potato, and sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to the pan. Stir until well combined. Add breadcrumbs and mix thoroughly. Transfer the mixture to a tray to cool.
Roll out semi-thawed puff pastry sheets into 15x15cm squares. Divide each sheet into thirds.
Place 1/9 of the filling and some shredded cheese onto each pastry square. Fold the pastry over and seal the edges by pressing with your fingers and a fork.
Place the pies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make small cuts on the top of each pie and brush with beaten egg. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
