INGREDIENTES
Main
- 🐖 100g sliced pork belly
- 🥬 200g shredded cabbage
- 1 tbsp salad oil
- 🧅 2 tbsp chopped green onion
- 2 tbsp tempura flakes
- 1 tbsp pickled ginger
Batter
- 150g silken tofu
- 🥚 1 egg
- 150g grated yam
- 30g okara powder
- 1/2 tsp dashi powder
Toppings
- as needed okonomiyaki sauce
- as needed mayonnaise
- 2g bonito flakes
- as needed aonori (seaweed flakes)
PASOS
Shred the cabbage finely and peel and grate the yam.
In a bowl, whisk silken tofu until smooth. Add the egg and mix well, then incorporate the remaining batter ingredients. Fold in cabbage, green onion, tempura flakes, and pickled ginger.
Heat half the salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Pour half the batter into the pan, shape it into a flat circle, and top with half the pork slices. Cover and cook for 4 minutes on medium-low heat, then flip and cook for another 3 minutes on low heat. Repeat for the second pancake.
Serve the pancakes on a plate, drizzle with okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise, and sprinkle with bonito flakes and aonori.
