INGREDIENTES
Vegetable
- 🧅 1 onion (200g), thinly sliced
Oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Batter
- 2 tbsp potato starch
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 💧 50 ml water
Sauce
- 1 tbsp ponzu sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- to taste chili oil
- 🌰 a pinch of white sesame seeds
PASOS
Cut the onion in half, remove the core, and slice thinly.
In a bowl, mix the sliced onion with the batter ingredients (potato starch, flour, salt, dashi powder, and water).
Heat sesame oil in a pan over low heat. Spread the onion mixture thinly in the pan and cook for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 5 minutes.
Cut the pancake into bite-sized pieces, plate, and serve with the sauce made by mixing ponzu sauce, sesame oil, chili oil, and sesame seeds.
