INGREDIENTES

- 🥔 450g potatoes
- 🌽 2 tbsp canned corn
- 🧀 4 slices melting cheese
- 4 tbsp potato starch
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Pizza Sauce
- 🍅 2 tbsp ketchup
- 🧄 1/4 tsp grated garlic
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
PASOS
Mix the pizza sauce ingredients (ketchup, garlic, salt, pepper, basil) with canned corn in a bowl.
Cut the potatoes into bite-sized pieces and soak them in water. Drain the water afterward. Cut the melting cheese into quarters.
Boil the potatoes in a pot with enough water to cover them. Cook for 10 minutes until tender, then drain the water.
Mash the boiled potatoes in a bowl until smooth. Add potato starch and salt, mix thoroughly, and let cool slightly.
Divide the potato mixture into 8 portions. Flatten each portion on a piece of plastic wrap, layer with cheese, pizza sauce mixture, and more cheese. Wrap and shape into balls.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the potato mochi balls until golden brown on both sides.
