INGREDIENTES
Meat
- 100g sliced pork
Vegetables
- 2 burdock roots (180g), sliced
- 100g kimchi
- Chopped green onion, as needed
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Sauce
- 150cc water
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
PASOS
Place the pork in a bowl, season with salt and pepper, and massage it into the meat.
Wash the burdock roots thoroughly, slice them diagonally, and soak them in water to remove bitterness. Drain well.
Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat, add the pork, and stir-fry until the meat changes color.
Add the burdock and kimchi, stir-fry briefly, then add the sauce ingredients (water, sake, mirin, soy sauce). Bring to a boil.
Cover the pot and simmer over low heat for 10–15 minutes until the burdock becomes tender.
Serve in a dish and sprinkle chopped green onions on top.
