    • 150g sliced pork
    • 200g lotus root
  • Oil

    • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
  • Seasonings

    • 200cc water
    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 🧂 1/2 tsp sugar
    • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

Cut the lotus root in half lengthwise, then slice into 5mm thick pieces. Soak in water and drain. Cut the vermicelli in half using kitchen scissors.

Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add pork and stir-fry until the color changes. Add lotus root and stir-fry until coated with oil.

Add the seasonings (water, sake, sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce) and bring to a boil. Push the ingredients to the side, add vermicelli, submerge in the broth, cover, and simmer on low heat for 5–7 minutes. Remove the lid and stir until the broth reduces.
