    • 🍄 1/2 pack (50g) maitake mushrooms

    • 💧 400cc water
  • Seasoning

    • 🍶 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
    • 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1/2 tsp dashi powder
  • Garnish

    • 🌱 Chopped green onions, as needed

Trim the root ends of the shimeji mushrooms and separate them into smaller pieces. Tear the maitake mushrooms into bite-sized pieces.

Cut the thinly sliced pork into 2cm wide strips.

In the rice cooker bowl, combine the soaked rice, all the seasonings (sake, mirin, salt, soy sauce, dashi powder), and water up to just below the 2-cup line. Mix well and flatten the rice surface.

Layer the pork, shimeji mushrooms, and maitake mushrooms on top of the rice, spreading them evenly. Start the rice cooker on the normal cooking setting.

Once the rice is cooked, gently mix everything together. Serve in bowls and garnish with chopped green onions.
