    • 1/2 block konjac (125g)
    • 🥕 1/2 carrot, sliced
    • 🧅 1 tbsp chopped green onion
    • A pinch of shichimi togarashi
  • Seasonings

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 🍬 1 tsp sugar
    • 🧂 1 tsp soy sauce
    • 1/2 tbsp miso
    • 1/4 tsp dashi powder
    • 💧 100ml water

Cut the carrot in half lengthwise, then slice into 5mm half-moon pieces. Tear the konjac into bite-sized pieces using a spoon. Boil the konjac in water for 3 minutes, then drain.

In a pot, dry-fry the konjac over medium heat to remove excess moisture. Add the pork and stir-fry until the meat changes color. Add the carrot and stir-fry for 1–2 minutes.

Add all the seasonings (☆) and mix well. Bring to a boil, then cover with a lid and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.

Serve in a bowl and garnish with chopped green onion and a pinch of shichimi togarashi.
